Stop Using Cute Pick-Up Lines
If you were in a bar and walked up to a woman, bought her a drink and said, “You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen”, what do you think her reaction would be? If you think she would say, “Hi. My name is Jane and I think you are a pretty good looking man too”, you are badly mistaken.
She would probably say “Get lost jerk” or turn her back to you and ignore you. Why? It is because you are to forward and she knows it is just a line and not a sincere compliment. If she truly is beautiful, she already knows it and does not need you to tell her so as an opening statement. Never treat a woman as a possession.
So how do you approach a woman? You need to use humor. Not clownish, but use humor. Retain your charm and use your sophistication to good effect while entertaining her with your wise cracks.
Flirt with her and make a small comment as an opening statement. Talk about things that interest her and know about the topic so can hold intelligent conversation. If you don’t understand or know about a topic, then tell her immediately and ask her to explain more for you. It is not a crime to not understand and to ask for information. A woman likes to feel intelligent and needed.
She has a mind, so compliment her ingenuity and intelligence. If there is something you disagree with do not drag the disagreement into a debate or worse and avoid topics such as religion and politics for later dates. Just remember on that later date to never let the discussion become one where there is an “I’m right and you are wrong.” Everyone has an opinion and she also has the right to her opinion.
